Mixed Experience, Some Issues

dated decor musty smell
the resort was clean and generally well kept.
the decor felt dated, and there was a noticeable musty smell in the room. breakfast was mediocre, it lacked variety. mosquito bites were a nightly occurrence in the bedroom, made sleeping difficult.

an lovely honeymoon stay

warm staff large room convenient shuttle delicious food
the staff showed great warmth and care. sri and adit were particularly helpful. we had a large indoor and outdoor room. the pond with fish was a nice touch and fun to feed. the hotel provided a convenient shuttle service to town. the restaurant accommodated our vegan diet without issues and the food was delicious. a complimentary afternoon tea was a pleasant surprise. the complimentary nature walk took us through villages to a ridge for a great walk.
i noticed that the hillside location may pose challenges for people with accessibility needs due to the terrain.

the hotel included a beautiful main pool. the hotel also offered free morning yoga sessions in a lovely rooftop yoga hut with views of the surrounding nature. i found the free shuttle service to the city center very useful and convenient.

Acceptable stay with issues

The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful.
My stay wasn't entirely pleasant. The hot water didn't work the first night i arrived.
